So Michelle Phan is hosting a contest where you design your own shoes at Shoesofprey.com and upload a video with a picture of the shoes. Definitely a good thing we didn’t have to actually buy them yet, because the ones I designed are 0. x_x The prize for the contest is a giftcard for the website, so I’m REALLY REALLY hoping I win because not only are these the shoes I’ll be wearing to my senior prom in May (I don’t have any shoes that match my dress. TT), but if I get the giftcard and can actually buy these shoes then they’ll also be the ones I’ll be wearing at my wedding a year from February. For those who don’t know (because I’ve only told one or two people online, haha) AJ and I have been engaged for a few months now. =3 I’m sooo excited, and my maid of honor has come up with a few dress designs. The one I picked out has some pink trim on it, which would match these shoes perfectly. ^_^ And with having to pay for college, a car, an apartment, and the wedding, it would be really nice if I don’t have to pay full price for these amazing (and insanely expensive) shoes. Oh, and if you’ve never been to shoesofprey.com the reason all the shoes are so expensive is because since every design is different, they’re hand-made with real leather. Totally top-dollar shoes, haha. Anyway, I’m not expecting a lot of people to watch or even like this video, and I’m probably gonna take it down once the contest is over. But I rarely enter contests, so I’m really hoping to win this one. ^_^

Did this 2 years back but my wings were nature themed! The botton wings was a brown stocking with felt green leaves & felt & painted pink flowers! The top was some custom stocking that were like a collage of brown & green leaves with pink flowers, with blue pollen. I used brown ribbon 4 the handles. Also did my hair like the fairy off of sesame street, I had a pink puffy skirt yellow tank top with a pink undershirt pink earrings black & pink socks pink polish & makeup hair curled & brown shoes.

@ViviPoop This is amazing- bending the hangers was harder than I thought- and one broke! (but I tried string around it really tight many times which fixed it.) and I went overboard with the sparkles. But overall- it turned out great- and I thank you a million times over for the instructions! (I found the end wire a little pointy- but covering it with excess tights and sewing that in place fixed it. Any way- great vid! Thank You!

ok so this video is very helpful i just have a few questions. well first is can i use something other than wide ribbon to tie the wings to me? and if we will be using wide ribon then is it ok if i use white twine ir string?

my wire hangers are a lot beefier i guess. it wasnt as easy to mold into the shape i wanted. :/
