Cheap Prom Dresses

Okay.. so its my year 10 formal at the end of november..
I’m in australia by the way.. it will be summer and formal is like prom i spose.. but year ten is not as big a deal as year twelve.. anyway..
I wanted to do something different so i bought a printed maxi dress..

I’m worried about being to casual.. I’m tall and when I wear heels with the dress is kinda short.. i was thinking maybe pretty brown sandals.. not gladiator shoes.. different.. and then tonnes of wooden and silver bangles.. cos of the neckline i wouldn’t wear a necklace.. and one of those arm band things.. like around the top of my arm.. would it be too casual?
