Cheap Prom Dresses

Okay I have a few questions. I’m wearing a pale baby blue dress, and i’m wondering about my date’s boutonniere and tie/bowtie, whatever it is that is suppose to match. Should they match the color of my dress? Or should I just have him stick with white and get a white boutonniere?
He already owns a black tux (we’re in band, haha use ‘em for concerts.) so he has all the components for a black tux, along with the black bow-tie. so it’s probably just going to be for the boutonniere.

Basically what the question asks.
My prom is coming up and the shop that I bought my dress from did not have any red ribbons so they gave me white. They said they would order a red one for me but its taken months and still has not arrived. My prom is pretty soon so I am thinking of trying to die the ribbon they gave me.
Any help would be appreciated. thanks x

PLEASE HELP!!!!! My prom is this saturday, and I haven’t figured out how to wear my hair with my dress. It is a bright pink one shoulder dress that cuts off at the knee. I know that I want to wear my hair down, but how should i wear it? My hair is shoulder length. Also, I am wearing long dangly earrings that look like this:

I love to sew and design dresses…and I spend a lot of time doing so. Do you think that I could make it as a designer? And I don’t mean a big time designer… I mean, if I opened up a dress shop, do you think you would buy a dress from there?

I live in the UK and my summer prom is coming up (Year 11)
I need help finding a prom dress

Me:
Mixed ethnicity – eurasian
Petite – about 31″ 23″ 33″ B, W, H
164cm about 5’3

I would like a dress that is above the knees and no more than £100. I would like one that I could wear again, so not too prommy, just a nice evening but fancy dress

Prom is in less than two months so I want to start looking for a dress. I live over seas so I can’t go to any “normal” stores, so the dress either has to be available online or I will get it made by a tailor here. Anyways, I need some ideas on color and cut of the dress. I am 5’6”, 105 pounds and a size 2. I have fair skin and greenish/yellow/hazel eyes and my hair kind of matches my eyes. Lol I know that sounds weird but it does, although technically I guess it is a golden brown. I like unique and fun dresses like Betsey Johnson, Anna Sui and Chloe but they are a little expensive. Could you please give me some suggestions on the cut/color of the dress. If you have any specific ideas please send links!!! thanks =]

I’m thinking about wearing a black dress.
possibly red. I don’t like sequins or bright colors. I don’t want it to be really long and swooshing across the floor.

I want to go simple, sophisticated, and classy.
I usually see people going in pink, purple, blue dresses which sweep the floor when they walk. I don’t really like it.
