Cheap Prom Dresses

I am helping my friend find a nice prom dress to wear
her BF said he loves seeing her in yellow so i need a nice yellow prom dress
she wants a nice flowing long dress

or jus keep to traditional styles and colours. i got my prom dress, it’s white with a green-leaf print pattern (i love green, and it took me forever to find a green dress i liked) and a different-green bow around the waist, my shoes are green, my bag is white and my shawl is the same green as the bow on the dress, i’m keepin accesories very simple – a single, short string of pearls and stud earrings…it all has a 50s classy look to it, which is wat i was goin for ….but is it too much?
p.s – all the greens are nice greens, not neon or any other bright, disgusting greens

I’m not the type of girl to wear a ballgown to Prom. At ALL. I’m a bit of a punk (in the 70s British way, not the emo way) and even dyed my hair violet (that’ll be gone by the time Prom comes around, though). I’m 5’4″, pale and rather scrawney without much of a chest, but I have prominent collar bones and long, lean legs.
