I have the same dress as this sophomore who is going to the junior prom.
I’m a freshmen going with a junior..

My friend Alyssa said that as long as it isn’t two Junior girls that have the same dress then I shouldn’t worry.

Apparently I am going to prom this year. Which I am sorta excited about but not really. This is not my thing. I need to find a dress for prom. The last time I went to an event like this I wore a black knee length dress with fishnet arms and fishnet stockings with black stilettos. I am over weight (i go to the gym and all that but the odds of losing the weight I need to to look good is not really in my favor) and pale and generally not the ideal prom person. My dress size is 10-12 depending on the dress (I have d sized breasts which is a problem with alot of dresses). I would like something that will hide my tummy and upper legs. My hair color for the night is undetermined so that is not a factor (its currently pink but will change according to the dress for that evening). I am kinda “punky/gothy/emoish” looking. If anyone has an idea or links I would really appreciate it. The color Id like most is black or a mostly black dress but I am open to all suggestions.

Not crazy expensive is a bonus.

Hi! I have a formal dance coming up, and I need a dress! [Eek.] I’m looking for something that’s not too revealing, cute, not too flashy or bright, unique, flattering for a shorter girl with a curvy figure, and not too expensive [preferably less than $150, so no Elie Saab or BCBG or anything high-end.] All you fashion lovers, give me some of the dress brands you love, and suggest styles! Please do not suggest duct tape, sew my own, or anything that someone who isn’t very artistic couldn’t do.

I have an orange dress for prom and I’m not sure about what color I should do my eye make up in. I am tritanopia colorblind so I can’t see orange, yellow, or green. help!!
